For those of you who have been following win8 and have been faced with the same pain as I have regarding the lack of multi screen support for metro app’s in the current preview release, you’ll be delighted to know MS will be enhancing the next win8 release preview with multi screen support.

I’m really looking forward to see what the day to day experience will be like with this feature added as it is one of my most missed things at the moment and does cause me to go to legacy apps more often than metro apps on my desktop setup.

if you are having trouble getting your VBscripts that use excel components to work as scheduled tasks on a windows 2008 server you should try adding the following directory. It seems to solve a number of automation issues.

・Windows 2008 Server x64
    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\config\systemprofile\Desktop

・Windows 2008 Server x86
    C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\Desktop
