Dear readers,
I have the chance and luck this year (as allowed by my company) to visit the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Houston, Texas. (check out https://partner.microsoft.com/40018508 for some background info).
During a whole week long, I can follow sessions, seminars, hands-on-labs and have discussions with Microsoft people. Interesting and lovin' it !!
In the meantime, I'd like to make you warm to come back and visit my WPC 2008 blog posts as of next week, when I'm back in (cold) Belgium (it is approx. 40° C, so you understand what I mean :)
Some of the most interesting sessions I have attended so far handled the following subjects:
* Microsoft's Vision on overall security (Forefront Suite codename "Stirling", which will become the total of FOrefront A/V products for clients and servers, ISA next version and IAG next version)
* How to bring the Microsoft Core Infrastructure Optimization roadmap to your customers
* Stuff on the Small Business Specialist certificate (www.pdtit.be will show you I'm certified :) ), and the first impressions on the next version of Windows Small business server 2008 and Essential Business Server
So stay tuned with me until next week for further details
Greetings from the "Lone Star State - Texas USA"
